Dr. Patty Khuly
Patty Khuly, VMD, MBA is a prolific pet health writer, occasional media personality, and a practicing veterinary clinician (for almost 23 years!). She practices as a companion animal veterinarian in Miami, Florida at Sunset Animal Clinic, the same practice she’s volunteered at since the tender age of ten.
Dr. Khuly is an honors graduate of Wellesley College, the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and The Wharton School of Business. She writes a weekly pet health column for The Miami Herald, authors a monthly column for Veterinary Practice News, blogs biweekly for both Embrace Pet Insurance, and has been published in national outlets like The Daily Beast, USA Today, the Huffington Post, MSN.com and The Bark, among others.
Her blog, Dr. Khuly's passion since 2005, has won accolades from the veterinary community as one of the "Ten Best Blogs in Pet Health" by Fox News. Dr. Khuly is an obsessive knitter, nerdy reader, hot yoga devotee, and indefatigable foodie. She lives in South Miami with four rescue dogs, including three retired working dogs, a pair of goats and a flock of hens.
